1955  Calgary is still "Cowtown" . . . and the Stampede, the Ranchmen's Club and the palatial homes in the heart of the city are part of the imprint left by that unfettered era.
1963  And, like most Calgarians, they're quick to boost Cowtown as "a most progressive city."
