Exovede[coined by Louis Riel: L ex from, and ovede flock]Hist.
n. a member of the Exovedate.
1885  (1927)  Yours, LOUIS "DAVID" RIEL, EXOVEDE.
1885  (1927)  McKay, with a gesture worthy of Cyrano, ventured to say that Riel would have it, whereupon the Exovede rose abruptly, mentioned a committee meeting, and left the room.
1963  Riel remained aloof. . . . But he did make his own special contribution by giving the new body a name. Each man was called an exovede, and the council itself the Exovedate.
