- 1935  The Rupert's House canoe factory has been going full blast for the summer and J.S.C. Watt has turned out approximately sixty canoes during the season. Two new models, an eighteen-foot "Rupert" and a sixteen-foot "Rupert," have been developed and are now on display in the Winnipeg Fur Trade depot.
