1907  A couple of partially crazy sky pilots . . . spoke in a most disparaging and insulting manner of the Mormons of Alberta.
1955  When Alberta was young, a missionary was also hunter, doctor, teacher, civilizer, counsellor and friend, prophet and statesman. They were a sturdy breed, most of those early "sky pilots."
