Type: 5. Frequency — Power skating programs are aimed mainly at hockey players, but also appeal to figure skaters and even inline-skaters. Given the cultural significance of hockey and ice-skating in Canada, it is not surprising that power skating is more prevalent there than elsewhere (see Chart 1).
