Type: 5. Frequency — Restricted weapon is a legal classification set out in the Canadian Firearms Act and the Canadian Criminal Code. The term was legally defined in the Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1968-69, and it was stated that for restricted weapons, a registry should be set up so that a "record of every firearm can be kept" (see the 1970 quotation).
COD-2 marks the term "Cdn".
